DC residents may apply for patient registration to be eligible to purchase cannabis from any of DC’s licensed retailers. Upon submission of an application, applicants receive a temporary digital registration that allows them to purchase cannabis for up to 30-days while their application is under review.1. With a medical card in DC you are allowed to purchase up to 8oz (224 grams) every 30 days rolling.
This amount is tracked through a system called METRC.
The equivalencies for medical products are
1 gram of flower = 1000mg of edibles = 1 gram of concentrates.
There is a limit of 10mg THC per package of edible.
